Transportation Demand Management (TDM)
Below is the initial draft Transportation Demand Management (TDM) menu, part of the proposed TDM program in legislation introduced to City Council on July 12th, 2023. The TDM menu represents multimodal and programmatic options projects can select to comply with applicable TDM requirements. These options range from encouraging projects to include privately owned public space to including on-site daycare or subsidized transit passes for residents/employees.
A project must develop a plan (as a part of their building permit application) if it qualifies as a tier 1 project or higher per the below table. The TDM menu is a draft, and the City Planning Commission is happy to consider comments and proposed additions to the menu.
