Biography:
Ozias Kinney was born in Vermont. In 1850 he was living in Ashland, Ohio listing his occupation as Master Builder. He lived in Cleveland for a brief time in the mid-1850's. He designed the Chamberlain Block that still stands in the Warehouse District. His other works in Cleveland are not known. He went on to Chicago afterwords. The 1863 Chicago City Directory lists him living on Michigan Avenue near 21st Street. Dankmar Adler, later of Adler and Sullivan, worked in his Chicago office.
