Biography:  
  Harry Sylvester Nelson began work as a draftsman in the firm of Coburn & Barnum. He would later work for the firm of F. S. Barnum & Company. He was one of the principles of Briggs and Nelson when it was formed in 1905. He lived at 2607 Church Street, later moving to 1894 East 82nd Street.
