Biography:
	Samuel Austin was the founder of the Austin Company. He was born in the village of Orton, England where he became a carpenter and joiner. In 1872 he immigrated to the United States settling in Cleveland, where he became an independent carpenter-contractor. He was naturalized as an American citizen in 1880. He lived and worked at 4401 Broadway, later moving to Willoughby.
