Description: | The City of Cleveland Demolition Bureau will demolish the 2 story, mixed-use commercial structure, built in 1920 located at 11801 Kinsman. This will be a complete demolition of the structure(s) per the City of Cleveland specifications. The structure (s) has/have been condemned since August 22, 2018. The property was forfeited to the State of Ohio on January 07, 2020. The previous owner, Oscar Dolman, owned the property from March 04, 2010 to January 07, 2020 and has not made any efforts to redeem the property or bring it out of condemnation. It appears that this property has been vacant since at least April 2016 when the City first started receiving complaints regarding the property. Since then, the City has received at least 4 complaints regarding the property, and has boarded it up on 3 separate occasions. There is an outstanding tax bill in the amount of $84,786.73, including $727.50 in board-up delinquencies. This property contains blighted structure that is a nuisance and is continually using City resources to maintain. After the structure is razed, the remaining land will be cleared, graded, and seeded with grass. |
