Description: | The City of Cleveland Demolition Bureau will demolish the 2 story, mixed-use commercial structure, built in 1925 located at 2916 E 116. This will be a complete demolition of the structure(s) per the City of Cleveland specifications. The structure(s) has/have been condemned since January 22, 2009. Gary Parks has owned the property since November 28, 2018 and has not made any efforts to redeem the property or bring it out of condemnation. It appears that this property has been vacant since at least January 2008 when the City first started receiving complaints. Since then, the City has received at least 8 complaints re-garding the property and has boarded it up on 9 separate occasions. There is an outstanding tax bill in the amount of $1,629.44, which includes $485.90 in board-up delinquencies. This property contains blighted structure that is a nuisance and is continually using City resources to maintain. After the structure is razed, the remaining land will be cleared, graded, and seeded with grass. |
