The committee made the following suggestions:

  • get rid of the round windows on the side
  • Make the sign stand out a little more
  • look at the school down the street to get ideas for landscaping
  • take out the brick columns and replace with metal
  • the garage doors on the front should be glass and metal in the back of the building so that it looks more like a fire station and less like a large house.
  • needs better curb appeal facing east 131st
  • add color to the elevations.
