Committee moved to recommend tabling action on the project pending the submission and presentation of revised architectural and site development plans.  Specifically, the Committee requested the following: (1) a fully glazed aluminum door at the building's ceremonial entrance on the south (Broadview Rd.) elevation; (2) add additional glazing to the vesitbule's main entry door on the west (W. 24th St.) elevation so as to resemble the aforementiond ceremonial entrance door; (3) add full vision light windows oriented portrait-style on the west (W. 24th St.) elevation doors exiting the individual classrooms; (4) paint the left side door on the rear (north) elevation the same color as the existing building facade; (5) relocate the rooftop HVAC units further east so that they are not visible from the surrounding public streets; (6) paint the building's gutters the same color as the existing building facade; (7) locate a planter box/bed directly in front of the vestibule's main entry door to prevent the parking of cars that could block public access to the facility; (8) add a 6'-tall black metal ornamental fence on either side of the dumpster enclosure structure to create a visually transparent security perimeter for the outdoor play area; (9) place the proposed 3-foot tall black metal ornamental fence in-board of the landscape beds fronting on Broadview Rd. and W. 24th St.; (10) add painted traffic directional arrows to the parking lot's asphalt paving to indicate the preferred child drop traffic flow (enter off of W. 24th St. to exit on Broadview Rd.).
