Committee moved to approve the project design with the understanding that the sponsors would: (1) include pedestrian-scaled bollards, each incoporating a lighting element along the mews area connecting West 73rd and West 74th Streets; (2) provide a significant landscaping presence on both the West 73rd and West 74th Street ends of the townhouse units, to include a substantial tree component; (3) include address signage on the Gateway Court elevation to better direct public safety first responders to individual residential units; and, (4) place the required community mailbox element on either the West 73rd or West 74th Street end of the townhouses, based on consultation with the U.S. Postal Service. |
