Committee moved to table action on the proposed sign package with the understanding that the project sponsors provide revised drawings for both signs in the following manner:

1. For the Projecting Sign - Place it on the building facade such that its lowest element has a minimum 10' clearance above the sidewalk, per the requirements of Section 350.08 (a) of the City's Zoning Code; and its brackets and trim are changed to a bronze color to match the color of the building windows.

2. For the Wall Sign - Remove the proposed blue border; center/shrink the sign size proportionately so that it fits within the dimension occupied by the building's sandstone brackets located immediately above the main entrance doors and covers the former clock base; and, for the sign face itself, reproportion it thru the removal of a portion of the white background color.

Committee moved to table existing proposal for two weeks in order to permit project sponsor to prepare and present a comprehensive signage plan that would integrate the proposed new awning signage with the previously approved wall-mounted projecting sign.

Committee moved to approve the revised design for the awning to be placed over the main entrance door w/the understanding that it contain a closed-end valence and that its related graphic component incorporate an Olympic blue color on the logo.
