CPC staff has been working w/Old Brooklyn CDC & Councilman Kelley to see that exterior property renovations are properly reviewed by Near West Design Review Committee prior to project sponsors scheduled re-appearance before BZA on April 8, 2013. |

Committee moved to direct the applicant's to submit revised plans prepared by a registered architect that include: 1. The application of frieze board directly above all door entrances and extending across the width of all four residential unit facades. 2. Alternative designs that either: (a) keep the same final color both above and below the aforementioned frieze board or (b) include a darker color shade above the frieze board, the purpose of which being to provide a color contrast with the balance of the building's painted facade. 3. Window placement and corresponding widths that are applied to the exterior facade as dictated by available interior space. 4. The placement of exterior windows such that their tops and the tops of adjacent entrance doorways are in alignmentwith one another when viewed per each individual unit. 5. Color samples for all materials to be applied to the building's exterior. |
