Project details presented by Laura Bala, Marlene Gatewood, and Robert Gatewood.  Discussed the programming for the outdoor space and interior spaces, and initial thoughts on landscaping, signage, removable outdoor furniture, lighting, etc.

• What can be done to soften all the asphalt at the front of the property?
• Will the extra poles be used?
• Compare the costs of installing the planter boxes vs removing the bollards and pulling up some of the concrete and installing traditional landscaping.

Councilman Polensek was available to state his support for the project.

Motion to approve the signage as presented, with the condition to review and make a final decision on the fuller site plans on 8/18/20.

• Will the individual vendors be responsible for bringing their own tables/tents etc.?  Where will it be stored?
• Concerned that the fence is too close to the sidewalk and needs more buffer than the gravel.
• Suggestion to leave the fence post and repaint, leave the appropriate landscape strip on E. 185th, build fence more interior to the site behind the landscaping.
• Where is the gravel strip?  How will the gravel be installed?
• Can the existing poles be re-used for the fencing?
• How will the proposed fence be installed and supported?  Per presenter they will be using U-bolts and attaching them to the existing poles.
• What is the stain color?
• Consider using slats that are less than 10" tall.
• Would not suggest re-using the crooked posts for the proposed fencing.
• Suggestion to leave the poles, digs out the concrete to install landscaping, paint the poles dark, remove the fencing as proposed.  Suggest ornamental grasses and black-eye susans, or other drought tolerant species.

Motion to table as presented.  Applicant return expeditiously with a 4ft wide plant bed in lieu of the fencing, the bollards would be painted a non-descript color.  Landscaping would be ornamental species and other perennials.
