Project details were presented by Joi Carter (MidTown Dev Corp) and Brandon Graves (Artist).  The goal is to create change and introduce positive messaging inot the neighborhood with the Ward 7 Mural project.  The project is funded through the Cleveland Foundation.  Many of the images are of people in the community.

Committee Questions, Comments, Concerns

• What are the mateials?  Art work is depicted on wood panels and attached to the surface of the wall.
• Who will maintain the artwork?  Brandon Graves himself
• What kind of weatherproofing do you apply?
• Will you treat the edges and corners to keep the rain from getting insided the wood? One option could using exterior cement board, the material would never rot like wood panels.

Tarra Petras, Public Art Coordinator for the City of Cleveland, was available to state her support for the proposed artwork.
