Motion to table the proposed parking expansion for Muldoon's Saloon & Eatery Voting Members Present
Committee Concerns -Which parking spaces will you loose? -Are you aware of the landscaping requirements for parking lots? -Landscaping on villaview at 4’ and fencing at 4’ high -What are the storm management plans? Approved by WPC, with one catch basin for the entire lot? -Have you thought about restriping the entire lot? Parking/circulation would be better served if the entire lot was restriped because there is a lot of open asphalt. Would like to see a comprehensive parking plan. -Peggy would like to see a restriping of the parking lot, with the landscaping elements (arbor vitae?) with fencing. Need a new plan for the entire parking lot. Need to show landscaping on Villaview and at the corner of Villaview/Mozina, with curb or wheelstops. -What is the lighting for the lot? Poles within the lot? -How many seats per the parking needs? What’s the ratio of seats to parking? -Applicant to return with plans showing where the existing trees are, need landscaping plan, fence plan, new parking plan, and any lighting plans. |

Motion to approve with the conditions that (a) the last 2 parking spaces at the SW corner of the parking lot be converted to green space to save 1 additional tree (2 maple trees total in the SW corner). And (b) for another tree be added in the proposed landscape strip with the possibility of an additional tree being planted if the existing 'east' tree does not survive. Motion with conditions passed by all member present. |
