The Northeast Design Review Committee reviewed the project per the color coded map provided by the applicant and made two different motions. 1). The first motion was to approve the demolition of the building located at 18301 St. Clair. 2). the second motion was to approve the demolition of 17900 and 17908 St. Clair, and 1370 Larchmont. The applicant brought the proposal for the demolition of two other structures before the committee, 18301 and 18429 St. Clair Avenue. However, the Committee decided not to vote on the other two properties, as they did not feel that they had enough information before them. The committee cited that there need to be further Planning involvement along the corridor, as they did not want the new Manitowoc offices to be isolated from retail services that could possibly be housed in these buildings. Further study/due diligence was recommended. |
