Existing Taco Bell located at 1531 W 1117th Street located in the Edgewater Overlay District seeking approval to “refresh” their existing building image with new paint colors & wall signs. The dining room seating, décor, and lighting (LED) will be updated to the meet Taco Bell’s current modern image. Updated restrooms will meet current ADA standards and house new modern finishes. Kitchen area work will include new LED lighting, and new finishes. Site improvements include ADA site improvements from the public right-of-way to the building entrances, enlarging the dumpster enclosure to house all trash and recycling receptacles, installing a new drive-thru clearance bar, and new speaker post/canopy, replacing the board-on board fence at the rear of the property with new, and re-facing the existing pylon sign. The site currently has 22 parking spaces (including 2 ADA compliant spaces). Total project budget is $130,000.
