Committee found no fault with building design. They found the overall site plan lacking in certain details and gave significant feeback. Applicant agreed to add more detail, make revisions, and resubmit. A date has not been set for them to appear before the design review committee again as of 9/26/12. Committee reccomendations included: 1) Show all curb cuts on Rocky River Dr being removed. 2) Show whether the pin oak in the parking lot will be removed or if the pavement at it's base will be removed so that it can get enough water to survive. 3) Specify the strip of land on the SW side of existing building as grass. It currently looks like pavement on site plan. 4) Add clearer labels for B.O.B. fence around rear of property. 5) Show fence to remain around playground. 6) Add tree to the Rocky River Dr frontage of the landscape plan 7) Bring a material sample of the glass windows facing Rocky River Dr 8) If there will be any lighting or signage in the parking lot or on the building, these need to be shown 9) Reconfigure parking to incorporate committee members' reccomendations 10) Specify the materials that will be used on pedestrian paths and walkways 11) Specify material for dumpster enclosure on site plan and bring material sample to next meeting |
