Provide a drawing that is accurate in scale and dimensions. Relocate play area on the site so it can be more protected, that eliminates interface with parked cars or heavy vehicular traffic along Carnegie. Reconfigure handicap parking spaces - they will require at least 8 feet between the two stalls. Study the amount of concrete on the site and consider reducing concrete and add green space for a more pleasant user (customers & vendors) experience. |

Several concerns were expressed and need resolve including: 1) How pedestrian traffic will flow through the site. There may be conflicts between autos and patrons with current layout. 2) Delineate areas (seating, amphitheater, etc) by using texture or colors on concrete 3) Consider enlivening building with color instead of gray 4) It seems like there will be an issue with not enough parking to accommodate the audience the features & programming are intended to draw Staff will follow up and meet with project team to discuss the site configuration, use, any non-conforming issues that may arise. |
