Biography:  
  Ferdinand J.C. Dresser (born Dec. 21, 1882 in Arcadia, WI ) was a district manager with the Austin Co. prior to forming the Dresser - Minton Company with Julius H. Minton in 1922. (Engineers and Contractors). It then became the Dresser-Minton-Scobell Co. (1924) with J.H. Scobell.

The Dresser Company, Ferdinand J. C. Dresser, President, C. F. Fisher, Treasurer, Engineers and Builders, 1082 The Arcade (1925 City Directory). By 1934 Ferdinand had relocated to Washington DC while the company stayed at the Arcade. Dresser died in October 20,1973.
