Biography:  
  John Kalsch, Jr. was born in Badenvillirs, Meurthe - et - Moselle, France and came to this country at the age of one. His father was a gardener and florist employed by Daniel Hanna. The father later moved to Ravenna and Interlaken, Massachusetts. John Kalsch grew up and received his education in Cleveland. He was listed as an architect in Cleveland City Directories from 1916 until 1932. He became a member of the firm of Kalsch & Hoefler in 1929. His technical education was received in architect's offices. He was living in Erie, PA by 1942.
